Justin John started his career as an editor in Kerala and had edited some ad films and short films. And within a short span he got the opportunity to direct a few ad films(ACV Mahalabham, Asianet Dataline, SS Music, etc). He also made a short film, Kali Anjilum (Malayalam). It was an action film and received a lot of appreciation and paved way for him to enter the Hindi film Industry.

YAMDAS
He made his directorial debut in feature films by directing the movie, YAMDAS. It is a black comedy starring Ankur Vikal (Phobia, Slumdog Millionare, The Forest), Jatin Sarna (Sacred Games, Meeruthiya Gangsters, Saat Uchakkey). It was released on digital platforms like Hungama Play, Vodafone Play and Sony LIV.
He then assisted directors like Pavan Kaul in Bhram, Amit Rai in the multi award winning film Road to Sangam, 6 time National Award winning director Gulbahar Singh in Ek Thi Rani Aisi Bhi, Saahil Prem in MAD – Mad About Dance(earlier titled Someday), K. Rajesh in Chor Chor Super Chor, Sarmila Sankar in Pyari Dulhan(Earlier titled Dhobi Ki Dulhan), etc. He also worked as the VFX supervisor for Commando 3 starring Vidyut Jammwal.
He had also assisted in almost 200 ad films & promo shoots.
